Guild News

In March of this year, the guild master at that time, raiding leaders, and many officers of Absent Element began a new venture to create a guild focused solely on raid progression. The new guild was created with the name Carpe Incursio (CI) and most of the regular raiders were invited to move their main characters to it. For a short while, AE was left without any leadership continuity or plans and was in danger of collapse, until Diegomaradon came back from retirement to lead the remaining Absent Element guild, along with the help of some older resurrected officers that had previously been less active. Absent Element was reborn as a casual guild again, with an emphasis on relationships and low-pressure, low-expectation casual fun. We have kept our friendships with many of the long-time AE players who now have their main toons in the new raiding guild, and many of those players have kept their alts in AE for casual play between raiding sessions of CI. Guild Ranking

Absent Element is currently using the following ranking system:

Initiate - A rank for new members: This rank is a looked at as a trial rank to see if the player is a good fit.
CI Alt - This rank is for alt toons of people who have moved their mains to the Carpe Incursio guild (former raiding party of Absent Element).
Member - This rank is for all standard members who haven proven themselves as being compatible with the guild.
Officer - This rank is for supporters of the guild (usually long-time supporters) who are contributing to the operation or management of the guild.
Guild Master (GM) - Full administrative responsibility for the guild. Final decisions on guild policies, forum moderation, etc.
